Eight Quebec police officers have been suspended over allegations of sexual misconduct and other abuse against Aboriginal women in the community of Val-d'Or. Public Security Minister Lise Theriault announced the suspensions on Friday, a day after Radio-Canada's investigative 'Enquete' program aired interviews with 12 women. Speaking publicly for the first time, one of the alleged victims, Bianca Moushoun claimed that male officers took her to a remote road in northwestern Quebec and asked her to perform oral sex for $200.
